Hosted by the Human Rights and Conflict Prevention Caucus New York.
Objectives:
- Discuss the role and contribution of human rights to peace operations, their challenges and opportunities
- Discuss lessons learned regarding human rights components in peace operations.
- Raise awareness for the role of human rights in peace operations.
- Provide insight into how human rights support the national priorities of host countries, including in times of transition and with a focus on women protection and child protection.
