Climate Change and its Impact on our Health – SDG Media Zone, High-Level Week, 74th session of the UN General Assembly (23 September 2019)
23 Sep 2019 -  Dr. Maria Neira, Director, Department of Public Health, Environment and Social Determinants of Health, World Health Organization, and Dr. Agnès Soucat, Director, Department of Health systems Governance and Financing, World Health Organization, – a joint interview.

This interview took place on the side of the High-Level week of the 74th session of United Nations General Assembly.

Since 2016, the SDG Media Zone has been one of the main features of the UN General Assembly high-level week, bringing together UN Member States, content creators, influencers, activists and media partners to highlight actions and solutions in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. Through impactful in-depth interviews, panel discussions and Ted-style talks, the SDG Media Zone takes the conversation on advancing the 2030 Agenda out of the policy sphere and into the public discourse.

During the high-level week, the SDG Media Zone hosts impactful, dynamic and in-depth conversations with decision-makers, influencers and media partners – live-streamed on UN WebTV and promoted by partnering media organizations. Conversations focus on the main themes of the week – the Sustainable Development Goals, climate action, universal health coverage, financing for development, and Small Island Developing States.
