The COVID-19 pandemic brought into sharp focus the risk of major disease outbreaks. Not only did it highlight countries' lack of preparedness to address such outbreaks, but also underlined the risks of mis and dis information. In the midst of the high-level meetings on health and pandemic preparedness, this session will explore lessons learnt from the recent COVID-19 pandemic, how to prepare for future crises, and how to properly manage information on these key topics.
