Resilience through Social Protection - ILO briefing
8 Jul 2015 -  Ahead of the United Nations Secretary-General’s International Ebola Recovery Conference (9-10 July 2015), the International Labour Organization (ILO) organized in New York an interactive panel discussion to address key priority areas of post-ebola recovery plans in the three affected countries.

The ILO side event - moderated by Anne Drouin, Social Protection Specialist - highlighted the support to the recovery of the world of work in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone with an emphasis on the need for a minimum of social protection coverage and access to basic infrastructure services.

Members of the panel included the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Liberia, Francis Dennis, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba as well as senior experts from UNICEF, France and Public Service International (PSI).
