Ahead of Paris climate meeting, UNEP outlines global progress on cutting emissions and scale of the task ahead.

In Geneva this Friday, the United Nations Environment Programme will launch the Emissions Gap, its authoritative report on the world's progress on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This year, the report focuses on analyzing country pledges for the Paris climate meeting and lays out options for accelerated action to limit the global temperature rise compared to pre-industrial times to 2 degrees C.
