Gerard Bos, Corporate Action on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (Global Compact/IUCN) – Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum

This session will explore how companies can integrate biodiversity and ecosystem services (BES) conservation into their overall corporate sustainability strategies by showcasing best practices and innovative solutions. The main objective of the session is to introduce the Framework for Corporate Action on BES as a way for companies to develop, implement and disclose BES policies and practices in order to address risks, manage impacts, seize opportunities and contribute to social targets. The session will also focus on delivering public policy recommendations to further mainstream BES conservation within the private sector.

Mr. Gerard Bos, Head Global Business and Biodiversity Programme, IUCN
