20 years of research into emerging threats, trends and developments in terrorism and counter-terrorism - CTED's Global Research Network virtual roundtable
7 Jan 2021 -  The purpose of the virtual roundtable is to bring together members of the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) Global Research Network (GRN) with policymakers, practitioners, civil society and other researchers for an interactive discussion on key trends, challenges and lessons learned from the last 20 years of counter-terrorism and countering violent extremism (CVE), focused on how these lessons, trends and challenges should impact future policy responses.
The roundtable will be split into two complementary and overlapping sessions, one examining key trends and development over the past 20 years, and the second anticipating the future counter-terrorism and terrorism landscapes. Both will be discussions with expert GRN researchers from across the globe, moderated by a member of the GRN.
