Young leaders of tomorrow – SDG Media Zone, High-Level Week, 75th session of the UN General Assembly (17 September 2020)
17 Sep 2020 -  UN Resident Coordinator Dr. Babatunde Ahonsi oversees the work of the organization in China, working closely with the government, civil society and others to facilitate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Phoenix Television talks to him about the role of young people in promoting sustainability in a country with one of the largest youth populations.

Since 2016, the SDG Media Zone has been one of the main features of the UN General Assembly high-level week, bringing together UN Member States, content creators, influencers, activists and media partners to highlight actions and solutions in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. Organized by the UN Department of Global Communications, in collaboration with the PVBLIC Foundation, the SDG Media Zone takes the conversation on advancing the 2030 Agenda out of the policy sphere and into the public discourse through impactful in-depth interviews and panel discussions.
