18 Jul 2019 - Poverty is a complex and multidimensional phenomenon that goes beyond the simple lack of income. Multidimensional poverty measures can be used to create a more comprehensive picture of the experiences and challenges of poverty.
UNDP and the Oxford Poverty & Human Development Initiative (OPHI) developed a Handbook, How to Build a National Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI): Using the MPI to inform the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to be launched at this event.
The event will showcase experiences from Colombia, Guatemala, and Pakistan.
