Defending Human Rights and Justice for All - The Legacy of Anne Frank
8 Nov 2019 -  Interactive workshop marking Kristallnacht Pogrom, for 100 high school students on rights of refugees - “Defending Human Rights and Justice for All: The Legacy of Anne Frank”. The workshop is organized by The Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme, the Facing History and Ourselves and the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect. Students attending the workshop will consider Anne Frank’s writing and legacy; the testimonies of other young people affected by more recent atrocity crimes, and the experiences of refugees caught up in the contemporary crises. Students will be challenged to consider what they can do to defend the rights of refugees and contribute towards building a more just and peaceful world.
