22 Apr 2017 -  Experts from all over the world gathered both in New York and in Milan to discuss interesting topics relevant in the field of ICT for Development, such as but not limited to the promotion of digital services to ensure food security, new advanced applications of telemedicine, the endorsement of the concept of smart cities and its evolution into ICT villages, and the creation of a new paradigm designed to share and transfer knowledge and technologies from most developed to emerging countries to accelerate the decrease of poverty and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
