La Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos
The Inter-American Court of Human Rights is the judicial organ entrusted by the American Convention on Human Rights with its interpretation and application. The Inter-American Court has developed, in the exercise of its functions in advisory and contentious matters, and in the issuing of provisional measures of protection, a case-law which has much contributed to the evolution of the international law of human rights and which has had a sensible impact upon contemporary public international law.
