Third Panel: Biodivercities the Close Relation Between Cities and the Environment - World Environment Day 2020
5 Jun 2020 -  Participating in this panel will be Adriana Lobo, Executive Director of the World Resources Institute Mexico; Simon Stiell, Minister of Environment of the Island of Granada; Tatiana Gallego, IDB Cities manager; Elkin Velásquez, Regional Director for Latin America at UN Habitat; Manuel Felipe Olivera, Director for Latin America Cities, C40; and Jaime Pumarejo, Mayor of Barranquilla, will debate on Biodivercities and the close relationship of cities with the environment. This is a strategy that is being promoted by the National Government, which seeks for cities to integrate models of sustainable development and innovation, based on their natural wealth.
