UN condemns killing of some 100 people by DR Congo soldiers
14 Feb 2017 -  United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said today that soldiers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) killed at least 101 people during clashes with members of a local militia between 9 and 13 February. The office called on the FARDC soldiers to “abide by acceptable standards of national law and international human rights law" in their operations.
