UN rights office reports unprecedented cruelty against minority in Myanmar
3 Feb 2017 -  The UN rights office (OHCHR) has released a report that details "grave violations" against the human rights of Rohingya minorities in Myanmar. At a press conference in Geneva earlier today, the UN rights office said the wide-spread cruelty committed by the country's security forces was of a strikingly "extremely rare" type, according to UN investigators who were deployed to the Bangladeshi border with Myanmar in January this year.
