There is a need to step up efforts to prevent and eliminate all forms of violence and sexual harassment in the world of work, according to ILO expert, Manuela Tomei. During a discussion on violence against women in work at the ongoing 61st session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW61), Ms.Tomei highlighted the importance of prevention, protection, and assistance to the victims, while urging interventions and commitment from both the employers and the workers.
