The Vision of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is possible!

During this opening plenary session, a series of inspirational experts from a range of sectors and disciplines will share their insights into the opportunities for harnessing new ideas, innovations and approaches to achieve the SDGs.

Part 1: Harnessing the data revolution: Making every person count
This interactive discussion will feature how innovation and non-traditional data can allow for greater citizens' engagement and mobilization whilst advancing the SDGs agenda.

Part 2: The impossible is possible
This expert panel discussions will explore ideas, data, innovation and creativity to challenge our understanding of what is possible, and explore how we can adopt new thinking and approaches to achieve the SDGs.

Part 3: Inspirational address: Leave No One Behind
The session will close with a spoken word performance, 'rapping-up' the key messages and insights that were shared, and closing remarks will provide Festival-goers with an overview of key highlights for the day and evening ahead!

The SDG Global Festival of Action (2-4 May 2019 in Bonn, Germany) is a ground-breaking event powered by the UN SDG Action Campaign with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the German Federal Foreign Office and partners. The Festival is crowdsourced, designed BY the SDG Action community FOR the SDG Action Community. The Festival’s overall aim is to gather and inspire SDGs campaigners and multi-stakeholder partners to scale up and broaden the global movement to take action for the SDGs.
