Katowice Rulebook - A tool to tackle climate change globally
25 Jan 2019 -  H.E. Mr. Michał Kurtyka, COP24 President and State Secretary in the Ministry of the Environment of Poland will present the main parts of the climate agreement that was reached in Katowice and crucial principles on which Katowice Rulebook was founded.
Katowice Rulebook (Katowice Climate Package) serves as a tool to implement Paris Agreement and defines the common rules in the field of climate protection around the globe. For the first time since Kyoto, a systemic solution is being implemented.
Mr. Kurtyka will also place Katowice Rulebook in the process of the global climate protection agreements and actions, depicting where Katowice Rulebook stems from and what are the main areas of global climate policy after COP24.
