This event will focus on the importance of data in the implementation and monitoring of the post-2015 framework.
The potential benefits of the effective use of different types of data are enormous. To fully make use of these opportunities, a number of technical and political choices will have to be made. Drawing on the recent publication of the report of the Independent Expert Advisory Group on the Data Revolution, this discussion will be informed by a number of different perspectives, including the UN, governments, civil society, the private sector and academia.
