Responsible governance, disarmament and non-proliferation for progress and sustainable development
23 Jan 2017 -  The Permanent Missions of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Suriname to the United Nations and the United Nations Development Programme are organising a brainstorming event in an attempt to promote new ideas and initiatives to contribute to a universal push for sustainable development through an interdisciplinary dialogue within the UN system and beyond.
The brainstorming session will seek to discuss creative visions of transforming the world through approaches beyond the existing paradigm. The event aims to trigger new ideas on how to promote development priorities over military considerations. The exchange of ideas will also try to foster possible partnerships on the cross-cutting issues related to disarmament, non-proliferation and sustainable development.
