November 18, marks the fourth anniversary of the launch of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) by the Secretary-General in 2010. To mark this observance, UNAI in partnership with Monmouth University and East Stroudsburg South High School will present a conversation on global health.
The proposed programme will include a student panel and an expert panel from the two academic institutions. Each panel will be followed by a discussion and the event will then conclude with an interactive dialogue with all panellists. Monmouth University experts will focus on communication disorders and nutrition, while ASPIRE East Stroudsburg South High School will introduce the issue of mental health. Student representatives will present details of the implementation of student projects on health and there shall be a musical segment towards the closing, performed by renowned tenor Mr. Luciano Lamonarca.
