Annual Commemoration of the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda
12 Apr 2019 -  2019 marks the 25th Anniversary of the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
The Annual commemoration will take place in the presence of the Secretary-General, the President of the General Assembly and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Rwanda to the United Nations.
The Commemoration will include testimonies by survivors of the genocide. It will also include candle lighting and musical elements by the UN orchestra from the UN Chamber Music Society.
