Cracking the code: Empowering rural girls and women through digital skills (CSW62 Side Event)
14 Mar 2018 -  The special event will explore what transformative actions governments, civil society organizations, and the private sector can do to ‘crack the code’ and empower rural girls and women to be ICT users, creators and innovators through gender-responsive STEM education and skills training. Key government, private sector and civil society experts will shed light on the situation globally including factors that contribute to girls’ and women’s acquisition of digital skills and competencies, and good practice.
