Documentary project One Step
21 Nov 2020 -  One Step is a documentary project by the UN Information Center in Moscow, dedicated to the issue of domestic violence against women.
The project tells the stories of women who took a step towards discovering a way out of the maze of domestic violence. In the production of the documentary video piece, Oksana Pushkina, co-author of the Russian law on domestic violence, Valeria, singer, Elena Danilova, the psychologist of the Anna Crisis Center, and those who have personally encountered domestic violence took part.
On November 20, the online premiere of One Step anticipated the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. This day is annually celebrated on November 25 by the decision of the UN General Assembly.
Alina Sanko, Miss Russia 2019, opened the premiere.
The highlight of the online premiere was the live performance of the Russian music artist Rechka, co-author of the One Step documentary soundtrack called Unconditional Love, with piano (Alexander Pak) and cello (Alexander Budo) accompaniment.
