Eradicating Poverty, Promoting Prosperity and Empowering Women Through Financial Institutions
17 Jul 2017 -  Financial inclusion is an effective means to achieving a number of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDGs 1, 2, 3, 5, and 9, which are being reviewed this year as part of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF).
In this context, high level representatives from select member states and development partners will share experiences and lessons learned on using financial inclusion for sustainable development, and will offer recommendations on the importance of leadership and partnerships to realize the promise of financial inclusion in eradicating poverty, promoting prosperity, and empowering women.
