Fighting poverty for a better world: The Millennium Development Goals & Global Citizen Festival
This year's Global Citizen Festival will draw attention to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and commitments to health, education, equality for women and girls, and global partnerships.

The concert event on 28 September -- featuring UN Messenger of Peace Stevie Wonder, Kings of Leon, Alicia Keys and John Mayer -- will be available as a link through UN Webcast for people around the globe.

The website (http://festival.globalcitizen.org) provides online actions people can take to help promote MDG acceleration and gain entry to the concert.
