Session 1 - Girls and Young Women in Science - 2013 ECOSOC Youth Forum "Shaping tomorrow's innovators: Leveraging science, technology, innovation and culture for today's youth"
Although there are encouraging signs, women are still under-represented in science whether in basic scientific research or at higher decision-making levels. This session explores the ways in which STI can promote and facilitate gender equity.
