UN warns Somalia and South Sudan in peril of famine
Speaking to reporters in New York, OCHA operations chief John Ging said that Somalia and South Sudan are in "catastrophic" food insecure situations and millions of people are in need of humanitarian support. UNFPA Ugochi Daniels warns that malnutrition, cholera and the risk of sexual violence should not be underestimated.
