The Future of Work: Inclusive and accessible business for sustainable growth - COSP13 Side Event
2 Dec 2020 -  This session will explore how leading companies are advancing the social and economic development of persons with disabilities in business, while also improving the economic prospects of disability-inclusive businesses. With the conviction that employment is one of the most effective ways to promote the empowerment and social inclusion of persons with disabilities, the session will also cover what can be done to move disability inclusion even further forward. The session will look extensively at how technology and digital based jobs will underpin the future of work. We will discuss the innovative practices of return to work models in supporting an inclusive labor market response to COVID-19. By sharing the experience of the key organizations promoting disability inclusion in businesses, the session aims to encourage member states, development partners, and disabled people's organizations to collaborate with businesses to drive social change for creating an inclusive society.

COSP13 side event organized by the Permanent Mission of Ecuador to the United Nations, The Nippon Foundation and Leonard Cheshire.
