The following is the General Debate of the 2019 National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference, with student delegates from more than 130 member states on six continents. Each attending school was asked to select one representative to identify what they thought was the most important SDG. NMUN is the world's largest university-level conference with more than 5,000 students annually attending sessions in New York; sessions have been held at the UN since 1952. NMUNs mission is to advance understanding of the United Nations and contemporary international affairs while preparing participants to be better global citizens.
