States Parties consider cost estimates for elements relating to scientific and technological developments relevant to the Convention.
Measures on international cooperation and assistance under Article X
States Parties discuss the international cooperation and assistance mechanism. The Chairperson proposes that the discussion should focus, in particular, on the following issues:
- composition of the ICA Steering Group;
- the funding model for the ICA Fund.
In line with the indicative schedule of activities adopted at the first session of the Working Group in March 2023, the following topics will be addressed:
• 11 and 12 August 2025: international cooperation and assistance
• 13 and 14 August 2025: scientific and technological developments, confidence-building and transparency
• 15 and 18 August 2025: confidence-building and transparency, compliance and verification
• 19 and 20 August 2025: compliance and verification, national implementation
• 21 and 22 August 2025: national implementation, procedural report
