The UN Disability and Development Report 2023, to be published soon, updated its SDG good practices matrix with the help of the Zero Project database, highlighting over 63 pages of good practices from around the world, specifically, over 100 good practices that have removed barriers for all.

Description

Parallel to that, the Zero Project Conference – Policy Maker Forum brought together representatives of six countries, the European Union, the WHO and the ITU who presented Model Policies on accessibility, self-determination, access to health for all, and more innovative policies. A Report was now drafted by the Zero Project team.

This COSP16 side event will subsequently highlight the social impact of Innovative Solutions that is evident within the UN Disability and Development Report 2023 as well as model policies covered in the new Report. The Side Event is co-sponsored with the Zero Project, and will present speakers representing the UN Disability and Development Report 2023 as well as representatives of these innovative solutions.
