Rising Together: Viet Nam - UN Partnership for…

As Viet Nam and the United Nations look ahead to the 50th anniversary of Viet Nam's UN membership in 2027, this high-level event will celebrate a longstanding partnership and set the stage for its next chapter.

Hosted by His Excellency Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, the event will mark the formal handover of the 2027-2031 Country Programme Documents for Viet Nam of UNDP, UNFPA and UNICEF.

The occasion will also feature the announcement of new commitments by the Government of Viet Nam in support of the work of the United Nations, underscoring a shared commitment to multilateralism, sustainable development and continued progress for the people of Viet Nam.
