View moreView lessDescription
- Basic rights to food, health, education, water and sanitation of millions of people have not been met. The Sustainable Development Goals are well off track and the right to development remains unrealised for many. A human rights economy, which makes human rights central to economic decision making, could provide an important path forward. This means designing and assessing policies, and budgets, based on their impact on people and their rights. This discussion will explore how a human rights economy can help fulfil human rights, with tangible outcomes for people and planet.
