Interactive dialogue with senior officials of the UN System on "United for Inclusion: Leveraging the United Nations System for Transformative Social Development"

• Segment 1: Priorities for transformative social development

Panellists will address the following guiding questions in their five-minute presentations focusing on lessons learned and policy recommendations: What are the key global and regional trends, disparities and emerging challenges that must be addressed in implementing the commitments of the Doha Political Declaration, and how is your entity supporting Member States in addressing these challenges? How will the UN system contribute to the follow-up and review of, and to the implementation of, the Doha Political Declaration at global, regional and national levels? How can the Regional Commissions leverage their existing mandates to convene regional consultations and support regional follow-up processes? What global, regional and national policy innovations or good practices can guide coordinated, equitable and inclusive policy responses across Member States and how can they be strengthened across regions and within the UN system? How can regional-global linkages be enhanced to improve coherence between regional priorities and the work of the Commission? What specific support do regions need from the broader UN system to advance social development and social justice?

• Segment 2: UN system leadership for inclusive and integrated policy solutions

Panellists will address the following guiding questions in their presentations, focusing on lessons learned and policy recommendations: How will your entity implement the mandates from the Doha Political Declaration? What coordinated and inclusive policy approaches will be prioritized by your entity in support of poverty eradication, decent work, social protection, education, health, gender equality, care and support systems and digital inclusion? How can inter-agency cooperation and system-wide policy coherence on the United Nations' social mandates be strengthened to support Member States more effectively? How will your entity contribute to the Commission's enhanced role in the global follow-up and review process? What data, financing, partnerships or technical support will be essential for advancing social development and social justice across regions?
