His Excellency Mr. Abdulla Shahid, President of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly will brief the Member States on his priorities for the resumed part of the seventy-sixth session. This will be the first General Assembly meeting of the year 2022. The President's priorities will remain consistent with the five rays of hope – recovering from COVID, rebuilding sustainably, responding to the needs of the planet, respecting rights of all and revitalizing the United Nations.
