Just back from a visit to Darfur, Sudan, United Nations Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher described the situation in El Fasher as a horror show and a crime scene. He called for the Security Council and Member States to be more clear on the need for humanitarian access, protection of civilians and accountability.
