Two years after the start of the war in the Gaza Strip, Gaza City has been left almost deserted. A preliminary UN analysis shows 83 per cent of structures in Gaza City have been damaged, with 81,000 housing units affected. Thousands of civilians continue to flee south to escape ongoing military operations.
