Description

The designated "World Capital Country" will develop and implement a year-long program of scientific, social, and economic activities consistent with the Initiative's goals.

The Republic of Malta, the first holder of the title "World Capital of Women and Girls in Science" for 2023-2024, will present its report on the year of designation.

The Republic of Azerbaijan, the second holder of the title "World Capital of Women and Girls in Science" for the year 2024-2025, will highlight its programs and activities to nurture and celebrate the contributions of Azeri women in science to the socio-economic development of their country and promote girls' interest in STEAM, among other things.
