Summary
An informal briefing for stakeholders on the preparations for the Second World Summit for Social Development will be convened by H.E. Mr. Philippe Kridelka, Permanent Representative of Belgium to the United Nations, and H.E. Mr. Omar Hilale, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations, in their capacity as co-facilitators of the intergovernmental preparatory process leading up to the Summit.

The informal briefing will take place on 25 November 2024 from 3pm to 5pm in Conference Room 1 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, in-person only. The informal briefing will be broadcast live and available on demand through UN Web TV
Representatives of non-governmental organizations in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council, as well as representatives of other relevant non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions and the private sector with accreditation/United Nations grounds pass are invited to attend.
