The briefing on the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has been requested in a letter sent to the President of the General Assembly from H.E. Mr. Taher Elsonni, Permanent Representative of the State of Libya and H.E. Mr. Sidi-Mohamed Laghdaf, Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, in their respective capacities as Chair of the Arab Group and Chair of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Group.
