The Voluntary National Review (VNR) Lab will highlight the synergies between the implementation of the Sendai Framework and the 2030 Agenda. Discussions will take place on how the voluntary national reports towards the Midterm Review of the Sendai Framework can be integrated in and inform the VNRs and vice-versa.

While the lab will appreciate and analyze the inclusion of DRR in the 2022 VNRs, it will also aim to inform Member States on the cruciality of DRR and the Sendai Framework in the achievement of the 2030 Agenda. The lab will also provide forward-looking guidance for the practical application of DRR in future VNRs, and on voluntary national reporting for the Midterm Review of the Sendai Framework.
