Guided by the Commission's Gender Strategy (2016) and Action Plan (2021), this annual meeting of the Peacebuilding Commission on Women, Peace, and Security will provide an opportunity to discuss the needs and gaps in investing in women's equal participation throughout the peace continuum; and identify how the international community, the PBC specifically, can further support women's full, meaningful, and equal participation and leadership throughout the peace continuum at local, national, and regional levels.
