Opening plenary (SDG Action Weekend, Acceleration Day)
The panel will draw on on-the-ground perspectives from a Head of State and Local Representative while also bringing in the critical thoughts of a UN Principal.
An IFI President will provide a development finance viewpoint and a renowned development economist will provide an outside-in perspective on SDG implementation at the halfway point of the 2030 Agenda.
Leaving Sunday's opening plenary and heading into the High Impact Initiative and other sessions of the day, it is vital that participants grasp the urgency of the moment, the sense of what is possible and the imperative for collective action.
