DRC Declares End of Ebola Outbreak: Innovation…

On 1 December 2025, the Democratic Republic of the Congo announced the end of its 16th Ebola outbreak in Kasai Province. Beginning on 4 September, the outbreak resulted in 64 cases and 45 deaths. Led by the Ministry of Health with support from WHO and partners, the response deployed more than 100 experts, delivered over 150 tons of medical supplies, and introduced an innovative treatment facility designed to protect health workers and improve patient care.
