Operational activities for development segment…

This informal briefing for Member States is being convened by the Vice-President of the Economic and Social Council responsible for the 2023 ECOSOC operational activities for development segment (OAS). The Vice-President will provide an update on preparations of the 2023 OAS while the Deputy Secretary-General will present a key summary of the Secretary-General's report on the implementation of General Assembly resolution 75/233 on the quadrennial comprehensive policy review of operational activities for development of the United Nations system and the report of the Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group on the Development Coordination Office and Resident Coordinator System. 

The briefing will provide an opportunity for Member States to prepare for the upcoming OAS which will be held from 23-25 May 2023 at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
