Youth Session - Young Activists Summit 2019

Title: Young Activists Summit – Women and girls driving progress: Youth Session Description: A new generation of young women and girl activists has risen. These modern-day heroines embody the fight against injustice and help drive progress. Held on the occasion of Human Rights Day on 10 December 2019, the Young Activists Summit will give a platform to six young female activists to share their inspiring stories and amplify their call to action. A discussion moderated by Tania Chytil, RTS Journalist, will give an opportunity to the six activists to present their causes and debate with local youngsters aged between 15 and 25. They will tackle a wide range of issues such as plastic pollution, sexual exploitation, child marriage, and human rights. Nobel Peace Prize winner Nadia Murad will be the Summit's guest of honor.
