Description
This year marks the 35th anniversary of the World Day to Overcome Extreme Poverty and the 30th anniversary of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The event is jointly organized by UN DESA in partnership with UNDP, OHCHR, UNICEF, the International Movement ATD Fourth World and the NGO Committee on Social Development, AFD, End Child Poverty Global Coalition and Overcoming Extreme Poverty with the support of the Permanent Missions of France and Burkina Faso to the United Nations.
