COP16 designated Yerevan, Armenia, as host of the 2026 UN Biodiversity Conference. Armenia's incoming Presidency has begun preparations to ensure effective organization of COP17, CP-MOP12, and NP-MOP6, focusing on both logistics and aligning the conference to accelerate implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
