Description

This year's theme focuses on enhancing public awareness of the rights and contributions of persons with disabilities in the lead-up to the Second World Summit for Social Development. Key topics include innovative financing for empowerment, artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool for inclusivity, and recognizing the rights of Indigenous persons with disabilities.

Matters related to the implementation of the Convention: (item 5b (i)): Roundtable 1: Empowering persons with disabilities and enhancing social development policies through innovative financing (cochaired by Ms. Zuleikha Tambwe, Vice President of the Conference, Tanzania, and Mr. Javier Güemes, ONCE)
